La Ju Htoo, age 38, of Huron, passed away Friday, April 12, 2019, at the Huron Regional Medical Center. His funeral service was held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 20th, at the First Baptist Church. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery.
La Ju Htoo was born June 16, 1980, to his father, Kla Sher and his mother, Ku Nue at Burma. La Ju Htoo reached the third grade and after that he went to Kaw Thu Lay. From there he attended bible school in Mae Ka Ke, he graduated on February 18, 2002. Due to the civil war, Lu Ju Htoo and his family were forced to move from village to village. Some of the places that he used to live included; Mae Wai Tah, Mae Kaw Ka, Mae La Oo refugee camp in Thailand.
Lu Ju Htoo married his love of his life, Say Moo Paw on March 2, 2008 in Thailand. From this marriage there was born three beautiful daughters: Htoo Eh Paw, Htoo Eh Say, and Shwe Eh Htoo.
On August 26, 2015, La Ju Htoo and his family came to the United States and moved directly to Huron, South Dakota. La Ju Htoo found employment at Dakota Provisions where he worked hard to support his family.He enjoyed listening to music and watching soccer games.
God called Lu Ju Htoo from the labor of this life to his reward. He leaves behind his loving family; his wife, Say Moo Paw of Huron; his three children, Moo Eh Paw, Moo Eh Say, and Shwey Eh Htoo; his father, Kla Sher of Huron; his mother, Ku Nue of Huron; his brother, Kue Htoo and his wife, Pi To of Huron; and many cousins and friends.
