My deep sympathy to the Trowbridge family. I have thought of Ivan numerous times throughout the years since he was a student in my junior class. He was a "good guy."  Evelyn Blum

Sorry to hear of Ivan passing. I have sat down to write this half a dozen times and the tears flow at the sadness of it all. Ivan was a truly good guy. I remember him putting a hand on my shoulder and saying "How's it goin' kid?" Looking at my dismal bowling score I'd say not good. He'd coach me up a little, without being asked, and it helped. That was Ivan he gave of himself and expected nothing in return. He just wanted to help.

Another time Jonna and I were golfing the Broadland course we had seen Ivan mowing and he stopped to talk. Again "Hows it going kid?" I said well we're on the 6th and I'm 16 over par and I've only lost 2 balls. I'm having a good day! He just laughed and went on his way. When we got to the next green there was a ball on it. We thought score! Like finding an Easter egg. When we got to the 8th green there were 3 more golf balls! It was Ivan all along.

One day God will heal the broken hearts Ivan has left behind. I know when we meet again he'll put his hand on my shoulder and, with that smile, say "How's it goin' kid?"  Dennis & Toni Baum
